Looking for more ideas to promote the ways your club benefits the community? Have an event coming up? Looking for a new recruitment method? The University has a range of digital tools that your club could use for promotion. In addition to promoting in this portal, clubs can advertise through the fortnightly What's On newsletter and Facebook page. E-screens across campus are also available to use. 

The What's On Newsletter is one way to promote your club’s next event or achievements. It has a current reach of about 15,000 students and can be used by clubs to spread the word. The newsletter has limited space for club events and priority will be given to events that:

  • Any University of Auckland student can attend
  • Are free
  • Are on (or near) campus

You can also check out the Facebook page for further promotion opportunities.

Your club could also utilise a number of e-screens around campus. Submit a 16:9 image file which outlines the key information of your club’s event or achievement – remember to include date, time, location and a URL.

Requests should be submitted at least one week before your event.

Event promotion is at the discretion of the Campus Life Communications and Marketing team.

  • A landscape in JPEG format
  • Maximum file size is 20MB, minimum file size 1MB
  • Visually effective and easy to read
  • Be sure to include the date, time and location of the event into the promotion image
